Mother Otter and Cubs

Otters are found in most marshes, rivers, wetlands and lakes and the population has been in decline for some years, but here in East Anglia they are on the increase due to conservation and breeding programmes. My local RSPB Site, Minsmere Suffolk, has several females and a few dog otters on site and they have been successful in breeding and raising young cubs over the last few years. They feed just about on everything from invertebrates, fish, even other mammals not to forget wading birds. Basically, anything goes as far as food goes
