This bird is a reed dweller and lives in reed beds on wetland sites, builds its nest low to the reed base and climbs up the reeds to make a lovely variant song that is full of chatter and melody. They like to make a short flight up and then descend back to the reed base then climb up to the upper part of the reeds to try to attract a mate.
